Financial Adviser
...it was her passion for helping people that inspired her to make the change and she has never looked back.
Brittany took an interesting route to the Financial Planning Industry, first completing a Bachelor of Arts majoring in International Relations. Although new to the industry, it was her passion for helping people that inspired her to make the change and she has never looked back. Her Mauritian background also made her the perfect fit for the Optalife team. Brittany’s favourite part of working in financial planning is witnessing the positive impact of client’s achieving their financial goals, not just on their financial wellbeing, but every aspect of their life.
Brittany is also a fiery Collingwood supporter, and in order to fit in more with her fellow barracker, plays hockey on the weekends, where having a full set of teeth is of a liability than of any use.
Anything by George Michael. I have been obsessed with him ever since I raided my parent’s cupboards and found his cassette. As you can imagine that’s a really long time!
I have family members who work in the industry and seeing the passion that they have for what they do inspired me to investigate a career in financial planning. As soon as I started studying, I knew this was the career path for me. As a people person, I love getting to make a genuine difference in someone’s life.
My dad is a diehard fan and growing up he was the responsible for making dinner every night. He told my sister and I that if we wanted to have dinner then we had to be Collingwood Supporters. It was a matter of survival!
1927 – It is the first year of Collingwood’s famous four peat. I’d go back and relive every premiership from that era.
My Optimal Life revolves around the people in my life that I love and the way that I spend my time with them. Whether that be travelling the world and experiencing the world with them or having them over for dinner in my dream home.
